Offer a resolution to your political party at the convention
The Democratic and Republican county conventions are over. thanks to those who participated across the state by providing Protect Women's Health Platforms at the local convention. If you are a state delegate, you can help elevate the importance of women's health by offering and supporting a women's health platform resolution at your party's state convention.
Resolutions are offered as proposed amendments or additions to a party's platform. Typically speaking, a party platform dictates the values and stances that party members should agree with. By submitting a protect women's health resolution you are asking your party to stand for these values.
It's easy to submit a resolution, simply take a copy of the resolution to the state convention. When the chairs ask for your resolutions just turn yours in. If the chair doesn't ask, remember to turn it in before you leave.
Download either the: Democratic Platform Resolution or the Republican Platform Resolution.
Talk to Primary Candidate's about where they stand on Choice!
As the primary continues towards the finish line, talk to candidates as they come to your door, or call you or see you at gatherings. Ask them where they stand on the issue of reproductive rights, comprehensive sex education and access to all reproductive health care services. Help ensure candidates at every level talk about the issues concerning women's health. If they aren't pro-choice, don't vote for them.
